I believe every youth deserves access to a quality education, meaningful relationships, and opportunities that inspire growth beyond their current circumstances. As Superintendent of Infinity Institute of Learning, I am committed to creating a structured, engaging, and supportive learning environment where youth are challenged academically, encouraged socially and emotionally, and empowered to envision a brighter future. My vision in this role is to transform education for adjudicated and at-risk youth by creating spaces where youth feel seen, valued, supported, and capable of success despite their challenges. I believe in building a culture that combines high expectations with compassion while exposing youth to meaningful learning experiences, career pathways, mentorship, restorative practices, and opportunities that expand their perspective of what is possible for their lives.

Located within the Wayne County Juvenile Detention Facility, our program serves youth in grades 6–12 through innovative instruction, credit recovery opportunities, career exploration, mentorship, and individualized support. As I continue expanding this vision, I am excited to work toward opening a community school model that will extend our impact beyond the detention setting by connecting youth and families with educational resources, mental health supports, mentorship programs, workforce readiness opportunities, and community partnerships designed to strengthen the whole child and surrounding community. 

A major part of my vision is continuing to find opportunities to support youth after they transition out of the facility by providing ongoing academic and community-based supports that allow them to catch up on missing standards, strengthen foundational skills, remain connected to positive mentorship, and successfully transition back into their schools and communities with confidence and purpose.
